We’re passionate about our bows and specialise in tailor making English Longbows and Warbows specifically to your
chosen requirements.
There’s no weapon of war that evokes such admiration of both the archer and the bow itself, and that’s why we put so
much time and care into every Longbow and Warbow we craft. From your dream of owning a custom Longbow or
Warbow to the moment you hold it in your hand, we’ll do our very best to take your design requirements and turn them
into a stunning peice or art.
We’re also working very closely with Celestino Poletti – an Italian craftsman whose work with yew longbows and
warbows is akin to fine art. These heavy draw weight longbows are the closest you’ll get to the ones found on the Mary
Rose – capable of delivering a half inch arrow 200 yards plus. Hold a Celestino Poletti Warbow in your hand and you’ll
understand the power that one of these incredible longbows can deliver.
After personally studying the Tudor Warbows from the Mary Rose we can faithfully reproduce laminate and self bows to
the same profile and take inspiration from their innovative crafting techniques.
From yew longbows and warbows to ash, hickory and lemonwood, we use a variety of woods depending on the order -
and combine with buffalo horn nocks, leather grips and multiple laminations, to ensure each bow is individual.
