In purchasing one of our longbows you have taken the step to owning a truly magnificent piece of English history.
An English weapon that is both beautiful and practical. Our longbows are a pleasure to hold and a delight to shoot.
The top quality wood used in our bows perform faultlessly, and with the proper care should last a lifetime.
Producing longbows is a passion for us. The knowledge that they will ultimately be shooting many thousands of
arrows and enjoyed throughout their life, makes every hour of work completely worthwhile.
We can make a Longbow suitable for anyone. Young, old, beginners & experienced alike. There are a couple of
points worth considering before buying a longbow. Custom made longbows will require payment up front and will
take upto 4 weeks to complete. For Male beginners a rough guide for a comfortable draw weight would be 40-45lbs
with a 27-28 inch draw length, for females 30 - 50lbs draw weight and 27 inch draw length, For Children 20 -35lbs
draw weight and a maximum of 27 inches draw length.
(All warbows will have a draw length of 32 inches)
Warranty
Barebow Archery selects woods that will craft the best quality longbow possible. These woods will produce a
product that will and can be depended on for years from the day of purchase.
The length of warranty cover that comes with Barebow products can be seen below. Any problems, from a
manufacturing or material point of view, will usually manifest itself well within a three month time period.
If in the very unlikely possibility your bow does break or has a problem in the first three months your bow will be
replaced free of charge.
If you have a problem after this period up to 12 months, we will replace your bow at 60%
of its purchase cost.
If any bows get accidentally damaged past this time then we may be able to repair the fault for a charge.
