The Barebow Archery Club is an English Longbow and Warbow Club based near to chingford in Essex.
This club has been set up not only for low poundage Longbows but for the archers who shoot heavier weight bows.
At the moment we have laminate and self yew/elm bows drawing between 30Lbs - 130Lbs in weight.
We have decided at our club to keep things in the spirit of the medieval longbow. We have given you the choice of
the normal Paper Targets or the medieval Wand and Garland.
At the present time we have target ranges up to 100 Yards.
There will be Distance/Clout shooting once the crops have been harvested
Anyone is welcome so long as you are a member of GNAS or the NFAF or you will need to purchase your own annual
